Pledging commitment to AUB and Lebanon and enhancing ties among AUB alumni and their relationship with the University are the themes of the third WAAAUB annual convention that will be held at AUB on June 29th- June 30th, 2010.
The WAAAUB convention offers a first of its kind opportunity for WAAAUB members, alumni chapter presidents and representatives as well as all alumni from around the world to meet and exchange their views on issues of interest to them and their Alma Mater.
The objectives of the convention are the following:
- To acquaint the members of WAAAUB to each other
- To formulate and present the WAAAUB Board of Directors Strategy for 2011
- To formulate and present the WAAAUB Standing Committees Strategies for 2011
- To formulate and present the WAAAUB Council Strategy for 2011
- To present and review the accounts of WAAAUB and the actions of the WAAAUB Board
- To launch the WAAAUB activities for 2010- 2011
