All convention participants travelling from outside Canada (including those from the USA) require a valid passport (and maybe a VISA). U.S. Citizens do not need a Visa. Please check with your local Canadian embassy or consulate for required travel documents.

Flying to Montreal
There are several websites from which you can purchase online tickets to Montreal – airport code: YUL, such as: Air Canada (www.aircanada.ca), American Airlines (www.aa.com), Cheapoair (www.cheapoair.com), Delta (www.delta.com), Expedia (www.expedia.ca or www.expedia.com), Travelocity (www.travelocity.ca or www.travelocity.com), Porter Airlines (www.flyporter.com), Priceline (www.priceline.com), Westjet (www.westjet.com)

The closest airport is the Pierre ElliottTrudeau Airport, located in Dorval (WestIsland): click here

For alumni on the US East Coast, we suggest flying to Burlington, VT on JetBlue. Roundtrip fare $150-200. Montreal is only 75 away from Burlington, VT.


Getting to the Hotel
1. “La Quebecoise” shuttle bus departs every 30mn and will drop you at the Queen E. A one way ticket is 16$ and a roundtrip is 26$ (taxes included). Click here

2. Cabs from the airport to downtown are a flat 38$ fee + tip (subject to change in the Fall)

3. Bus 204 to Cardinal, switch to bus 211 towards downtown, take Metro Lionel Groulx to Metro Bonaventure – orange line: 2.75$

4. Have a friend pick you up! :)

Taking the Bus to Montreal
The closest Bus Station – Station Centrale d'Autobus a Montreal– is located downtown above the BerriUQAM Metro station at 505 Boulevard DeMaisonneuve East, Montreal, QC H2L 4R6. The following site provides details and links to different bus lines from Canadian cities and the USA: click here

Getting to the Hotel:
1. Take the Quebecoise shuttle bus, or
2. Grab a 5mn cab, or
3. Take the Metro (orange line) at BerriUQAM metro towards Bonaventure station.

Taking the Train to Montreal
